Series Of Rain Storms To Drench Long Beach: Where To Find Sandbags
Long Beach will be hit with moderate rainstorms starting Wednesday night and over the weekend, which could cause flooding.
LONG BEACH, CA — The first in a series of upcoming storms will bring rain and mountain snow Wednesday night into Thursday in Long Beach, according to the National Weather Service.
Following mid-week rain, dry weather is expected in most areas on Friday and Saturday. However, a second and likely much stronger storm will arrive on Sunday with periods of moderate to heavy rain through Tuesday, forecasters said.
"Unfortunately the front and heaviest rain will hit LA county during the morning rush hour," the weather service said.
