Woman Shot To Death In Long Beach
The Long Beach Police Department is investigating the death of a Long Beach woman.

LONG BEACH, CA — A Long Beach woman was shot to death this week, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
At about 3:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Long Beach police responded to the 2300 block of Locust Avenue after the Long Beach Fire Department requested assistance with a woman under cardiac arrest.
When police arrived, police discovered the woman with multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body. The victim, identified as 43-year-old Myriam Zaragoza, was declared deceased at the scene.

Homicide detectives are investigating the woman's death. No information about the suspect, the motive or the circumstances of the incident was available.
