$100K Classic Car Stolen In Woodland Hills: Reports

The 1962 Chevrolet Impala was stolen just a few weeks after the owner got it and on the night before his birthday, according to reports.

LOS ANGELES — A $100,000 classic car was stolen last week from a Woodland Hills home, according to reports.

The theft occurred Thursday on Medina Road, NBC4 reported. The vehicle was a teal 1962 Chevrolet Impala convertible with 12 batteries for hydraulic hopping, according to KTLA.

“I had a lot of cars but that one was definitely special,” owner Seth Wayne told NBC4, which noted the vehicle was stolen just a few weeks after Wayne got it and on the night before his birthday.

Security footage recorded two men stealing the car, according to KTLA, which reported the vehicle was missing some parts because Wayne had been doing work on the engine.
