12 Injured In Crash Between Semi Truck, Metro Bus
Twelve people were injured Wednesday morning in a crash between a Metro bus and a semi truck.
SOUTH EL MONTE, CA — Twelve people were injured Wednesday morning in a crash between a Metro bus and a semi truck.
The collision occurred between the bus and a parked truck carrying lumber at around 6 a.m. Wednesday near North Rosemead Boulevard and Klingerman Street, south of the 10 Freeway according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The Metro bus was heading northbound on Line 266 and was operated by a contractor on behalf of Metro, according to a spokesman for the agency.

Seven people in the crash, including the bus driver, were transported to a local hospital, according to Metro.
Several traffic lanes were closed in the wake of the crash.
