A car carrying three people plunged off a rain-slick Mulholland Drive Tuesday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Three people whose vehicle plunged off the side of a rain-slick Mulholland Drive were rescued Tuesday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash occurred near Mulholland and Java drives at around 8 p.m. when one vehicle left the roadway and plunged down a steep hillside. When firefighters arrived, the three occupants had left the vehicle and were uninjured, according to the LAFD.
The terrain was slippery due to recent rain, which required crews to use a rope system with a basket stretcher to hoist the people one-by-one up to the road, firefighters said.
