4 Wounded In Compton Shooting

COMPTON, CA — Four people were hospitalized Saturday with wounds suffered in a Compton shooting.

The shooting occurred about 5:25 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of West El Segundo Boulevard, Sgt. J. Parolini of the Compton Sheriff's Station told City News Service.

Two victims at the scene had wounds to their upper bodies and were taken to hospitals by ambulance with stable vital signs, Parolini said. Two other victims took themselves to hospitals and had stable vital signs.

The investigation was ongoing and information was not immediately available about motive or suspects, he said.
