LOS ANGELES, CA — A body found in a suitcase in rural Indiana in April has been identified as a 5-year-old boy from Atlanta, according to Indiana State Police. Authorities were searching for his mother, who was last seen in the Los Angeles area.

Meanwhile, Coleman was arrested Oct. 19 with the help of the San Francisco Police Department, officials said.

Police described Anderson as a Black woman who is 5-feet-5-inches and about 135 pounds with short, dark brown hair. According to authorities, she is known to wear wigs or hair extensions.

Police said she has been seen in San Francisco and San Diego, both in California, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Houston, Texas. Anyone who believes they have seen Anderson is asked to call local authorities, police said.

There was little information known about the boy initially because no one came forward to identify the body and the child was never reported missing, police said.

An autopsy showed Cairo's cause of death was electrolyte imbalance caused by viral gastroenteritis, police said.
