LOS ANGELES — About $500,000 in jewelry was stolen this month from the home of Los Angeles Football Club forward Olivier Giroud, according to reports.

Giroud’s wife notified police Feb. 5 of the burglary after finding a smashed window at the home, TMZ Sports reported, citing law enforcement and adding the stolen items included more than 10 men’s watches.

The family was not home during the break-in, according to ESPN, which cited an unnamed source.
