6 Shot In Gang-Related Attack Near MacArthur Park: Police
Three of the victims were in critical condition and three were stable, police said.
LOS ANGELES — Six people were shot overnight in a gang-related attack in the MacArthur Park area of Westlake, according to police.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m., police said, when five people were struck in the 600 block of South Alvarado Street. A sixth person was shot inside the park at Wilshire Boulevard and South Alvarado Street, according to police.
Five of the victims were men and one was a woman, police said, adding three of the victims were in critical condition following the attack and three were stable.

No information about the shooter was available and no arrests were immediately made in the incident, according to police.
