6-Year-Old Girl Killed In LA County Crash: Police
The crash occurred after a vehicle entered an intersection against the light in northern Los Angeles County, police said.
PALMDALE, CA — A 6-year-old girl was killed in a weekend crash in northern Los Angeles County, according to police.
Sheriff’s deputies responded around 11 a.m. Saturday to Pearblossom Highway and 25th Street East in Palmdale, where a 2022 Subaru Outback driven by a 55-year-old woman entered the intersection heading northbound against a red light and collided with a 2014 Toyota Camry traveling east on a green traffic signal, police said.
The girl, a passenger in the Camry, died at a local hospital, according to police, who said others involved in the crash suffered minor to serious injuries.
