Abbott Kinney Blvd. Shut Down Due To Gas-Line Rupture

Construction crews ruptured a gas line on Abbott Kinney Boulevard Wednesday, according to the LAFD.

VENICE, CA — A portion of Abbott Kinney Boulevard was shut down Wednesday after construction crews ruptured a natural gas line, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The incident occurred around noon. The LAFD isolated the immediate area and was awaiting the arrival of SoCal Gas repair crews.

Abbott Kinney Boulevard was shut down between Santa Clara Avenue and Aragon Court until the repair operation was complete.
