SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday, Sunday and Monday to prepare you for for the week ahead.

With the clouds come cool temperatures and daytime highs hovering in the upper 60s along the coast all week. Inland, temperatures are expected to gradually warm up, reaching a high of 78 in Los Angeles and Temecula on Thursday, and peaking in the mid-70s in inland Orange and San Diego counties. Palm Springs, on the other hand, is expected to reach triple-digit temperatures all week with a high of 102 degrees Thursday and Friday.
