Body Discovered Near 405 Freeway In Van Nuys

VAN NUYS, CA — A body was discovered near the on-ramp of a major freeway in Van Nuys Sunday.

Officials received reports of a deceased individual near the Haskell Avenue on-ramp to the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway, KTLA5 reported.

Around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, a representative from the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner was dispatched to the location for investigation.

A description of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

It was unclear how the body was found, and where exactly it was located.
