LANCASTER, CA — A body was found in Lancaster by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies last week and remains under investigation Saturday.

Francisco Nunez, 38, of Lancaster was found lying in a dirt lot in the 44000 block of Division Street on March 14. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the LASD.

Sheriff's officials said no obvious signs of trauma were found on Nunez's body. The department is awaiting toxicology results from the medical examiner before determining a cause of death.
