ACTON, CA — A dead body was found on the roadway in Acton this morning, authorities said.
The body was discovered at 12:51 a.m. Sunday at 730 Sierra Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reports from the scene indicate the body was struck by multiple vehicles. The victim's vehicle was reportedly found parked along the northbound lane on the shoulder of Sierra Highway -- at least a half-mile from where the body was found.
