Booze Free Retailer Boisson Opens Two More Locations in LA

LA’s booming non-alcoholic spirit shops are expanding and leading the way is Boisson. Their new Studio City shop opened in summer and their Beverly Hills location opened a few weeks ago.

The one stop shop for non-alcoholic drinks now has more than 125 locations. Born in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, when many were reconsidering their drinking choices, Boisson has blossomed from its beginnings as an e-commerce platform to including brick-and-mortar shops in New York and Los Angeles.

The idea behind the thriving non-alcoholic chain began with its two owners, Barrie Arnold and Nick Bodkins. Both worked at an insurance software company and after the pandemic broke out they realized they wanted more sober drinking options. Many of their friends wanted to reduce alcohol consumption for a variety of reasons including fitness, pregnancy and those who still wanted to consume alcohol but also wanted clean options. The Studio City and Beverly Hills stores join the Brentwood store in Los Angeles.

Boisson carries a wide variety of products, including a large number of dealcoholized wines, non-alcoholic beers, and non-alcoholic spirits including gin, whiskey, bourbon, rum, tequila, and vermouth alternative.

They also carry a number of tasty mixers, so those that still want to consume alcohol can add their favorite libation for an alcoholic cocktail.
