Dodgers World Series Parade: 5 Things To Know
Dodgers fans are invited to celebrate the team's World Series win with a championship parade. Here's what you need to know.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Dodgers fans will get the opportunity to celebrate the team's World Series win at a championship parade scheduled for Friday morning.
The Los Angeles Dodgers became the first team in history to come back from a 5-0 deficit to win a World Series against the New York Yankees Wednesday night. This is the Dodgers' eighth World Series win, previously winning titles in 2020, 1988, 1981, 1965, 1963, 1959 and 1955.
"Last week, I stood with city leaders to say that L.A. is ready — ready to host the World Series, ready to welcome visitors from near and far and, most importantly, ready to win," LA Mayor Karen Bass said. "Now, we are ready to celebrate."

Stadium Celebration
Following the parade, a special ticketed event will be held at Dodger Stadium that will begin at 12:15 p.m. Fans at the event will enjoy food and shopping for team merchandise as well as live coverage of the parade on DodgerVision scoreboards.
The team will join the festivities after the parade concludes. Due to logistics, traffic and timing, officials warned Dodgers fans that it won't be possible to attend both the parade and the stadium celebration.
Parking for the event will open at 8:30 a.m. and gates will open at 9 a.m. All Dodger Stadium guidelines and rules will apply to the event.
Tickets are available on the Dodgers website.
A portion of the proceeds from the vent will be donated to the Los Angeles Dodger Foundation, which aims to improve education, health care, homelessness and social justice for all Angelenos.
Road Closures
Attendees were encouraged to take public transportation to get to the parade due to road closures impacting several streets along the route beginning early Friday morning. Some Metro bus lines that typically serve DTLA will be on detour starting at 4 a.m.
Metro Lines A, B, D and E have stops near the parade route and cost $1.75 one way and $3.50 round-trip. The Dodger Stadium Express will also run from Union Station for the stadium celebration and will be free with proof of event ticket.
Only ticket holders will be able to enter the stadium parking lot, where spots will be limited.
In coordination with local law enforcement agencies, the southbound U.S. 101/Broadway off-ramp will be closed for the parade and the north and southbound State Route 110/Stadium Way off-ramps will be closed for the stadium event.
