Dozens Of Firefighters Rush To Commercial Blaze In Hancock Park

More than four dozen firefighters responded to the scene.

LOS ANGELES — Dozens of firefighters extinguished a blaze affecting a row of commercial units early Sunday, authorities said.

The incident occurred shortly before 7 a.m. in the 600 block of South La Brea Avenue in the Hancock Park neighborhood, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, which said 56 firefighters put out the blaze in less than 30 minutes.

The fire had started outside and extended into the interior of a row of one-story units. No injuries were reported and the cause was under investigation.
