Massive Smoke Plume Along I-5 Corridor Due To Warehouse Fire: Authorities

Over 80 firefighters were at the scene.

COMMERCE, CA — A warehouse fire created a massive plume of black smoke near the Interstate 5 corridor on Sunday morning in Commerce.

Authorities arrived around 6:45 a.m. at the scene on Telegraph Road, where a large vacant warehouse was on fire and generating heavy smoke, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Over 80 firefighters were present and the blaze was knocked down in about an hour. No injuries were reported and the cause was under investigation.
