Dr. Dre Suffers Brain Aneurysm, Taken To ICU

The mogul gave an update on his progress Tuesday evening and said he would be "back home soon."

LOS ANGELES, CA — Dr. Dre is in stable condition Tuesday evening after suffering a brain aneurysm on Monday. After reports of his hospitalization began to spread, Dr. Dre took to Instagram to share an update on his progress.

"Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes," he said. "I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!"

TMZ reported the 55-year-old mogul suffered the aneurysm on Monday and was taken directly to an ICU at Cedar-Sinai hospital in an ambulance. According to TMZ, doctors were conducting several tests as they weren't sure what caused the bleeding.
