Fire Breaks Out At Silver Lake Fourplex

A fire broke out at a Silver Lake fourplex Tuesday afternoon.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters extinguished a blaze that broke out at a vacant fourplex in Silver Lake Tuesday afternoon.

The fire was reported just after noon Tuesday outside the hillside home at 2819 W. Waverly Drive, just north of the intersection of Glendale Boulevard and Rowena Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

"Crews coordinated interior fire attack efforts with rooftop ventilation to extinguish the flames in 30 minutes," the LAFD said. "Fire appears to have originated outside the structure and extended inside."
