Firefighters Battle Blaze That Broke Out Next To USC Campus

It took nearly 100 firefighters almost two hours to extinguish the blaze early Thursday morning, according to the LAFD.

LOS ANGELES, CA — It took nearly 100 firefighters almost two hours to extinguish an early-morning fire that broke out near the USC campus Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire was first reported after 2 a.m. at a vacant two-story commercial building at 806 W. Adams Blvd. Battling heavy flames, firefighters extinguished the fire around 4 a.m., the LAFD said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
