Rock Thrower Causes Crash On LA Freeway

A homeless man was caught on video throwing rocks onto an LA freeway, causing a car accident and damage to vehicles.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A motorcyclist crashed and a few cars were damaged Thursday after a man experiencing homelessness was seen throwing rocks onto a freeway in South Los Angeles.

The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Thursday on the northbound side of the (110) Freeway, near 23rd Street, according to OnScene TV footage.

The suspect was last seen on video walking away going eastbound on 23rd Street from Figueroa Street.

"The debris also caused multiple flat tires on the freeway, with at least two drivers in the area were seen pulled over on the shoulder waiting for roadside assistance," a Fox 11 report said.

It was unclear of the amount of damage caused, and the condition of the motorcyclist. No further information was immediately reported.
