"Officer Castillo and his family have shown amazing resilience and strength despite facing unimaginable challenges," LAAPOA President Marshall McClain said in a statement. "Now, it's our turn to rally together and show them the same support and care they've always shown to others."
Castillo and his family wanted to gift Camila with a doll, puzzle, or toy pony this past Christmas, but they faced challenges as they continued supporting the 5-year-old's medical treatment.
