Green Day Announces Surprise Show At Small LA Venue

LOS ANGELES, CA — The pop-punk band Green Day announced a Thursday concert at a Los Angeles venue that holds less than 1,000 people Tuesday.

Green Day will play at the Echoplex at 1154 Glendale Boulevard in the Echo Park area Thursday April 18. As of 1 p.m. Tuesday tickets were still available for $59.

Doors for the all-ages show open at 7:30. Tickets purchased will be distributed at Will Call on the day of show, according to the venue.

The band has been announcing surprise shows at relatively small venues ahead of the band's upcoming The Saviours Tour. The band played a pop-show at the House Of Blues in Anaheim in March that quickly sold out.
