Help Sought Finding Missing Boy, 13, Last Seen In LA County
Wyatt Hernandez was last seen about 2:20 a.m. Wednesday in the Whittier area.

WHITTIER, CA — Police and the family of a 13-year-old boy who disappeared in the Whittier area early Wednesday morning are asking for help finding him.
Wyatt Hernandez was last seen about 2:20 a.m. Wednesday near the 1100 block of Bexley Drive, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.
The young teen was believed to be heading to Downey.

"Wyatt has a possible destination of the 12000 block of Rose Avenue in the city of Downey," sheriff's department statement said in an alert issued Thursday. ``His family is concerned for his well-being and are asking for the public's help.

Wyatt is Hispanic, and about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes. He has a scar on his right eyebrow. He was last seen wearing a blue and yellow Rams hoodie and light blue pants.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to contact the sheriff's Pico Rivera Station at 562-949-2421, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website http://lacrimestoppers.org.
