Home-Invasion Robbers Tie Up Victims In Arcadia, Suspects At Large: Police

ARCADIA, CA — Four men forced entry into an Arcadia home in broad daylight this week, tied up the home's occupants, and fled with their jewelry and car.

Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of West Foothill Boulevard, near Michillinda Avenue on the Pasadena city line, just before 1 p.m. Wednesday to the scene of the crime, according to the Arcadia Police Department.

Four men had forced entry into the home via the front door. At least one suspect was armed with a firearm and another was armed with a knife, police said.

The men tied up two people who were inside the home before stealing jewelry and the victims' vehicle, police said.

The suspects fled eastbound from the scene.

"After the suspects fled, both victims were able to free themselves, and one left the home to seek help from a nearby bystander," police said.

Paramedics treated the victims for minor injuries at the scene, police said.

The vehicle was later found abandoned on Olympic Boulevard just west of the 110 Freeway outside downtown Los Angeles, police said.

The suspects were all wearing black clothing. One was wearing a reflective safety vest, police said.
