Harvard Westlake alumnus Jack Flaherty went from dreaming of being a Dodger to pitching a seven shutdown innings in NLCS Game 1.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Jack Flaherty, a Harvard Westlake alumnus, went from dreaming of being a Dodger in high school to pitching seven scoreless innings on Sunday against the New York Mets.
Throughout Game 1 of the National League Championship Series at Dodger Stadium, the pitcher only gave up two hits and lead the team to a 9-0 win against its opponents. Flaherty's performance marked the Dodgers' third consecutive shutout this postseason, according to USA Today.

The Dodgers are now tied with the 1966 Baltimore Orioles for the longest postseason shoutout streak with 33 consecutive shutout innings.
