SigAlert: I-5 Lanes Close For Motorcycle Crash

LOS ANGELES — A SigAlert was issued Wednesday morning for a crash that closed lanes on the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway near Garfield Avenue, according to preliminary police reports.

The incident involved a vehicle and a motorcycle and was reported around 6:15 a.m., California Highway Patrol said in their initial summary, noting the motorcycle driver was injured.

All lanes were blocked, and a SigAlert was issued around 6:30 a.m., according to police. By 7 a.m., only one lane remained blocked.
