LOS ANGELES, CA — A record-breaking K-pop boy band has announced their return to the world stage four years after going on hiatus — and they'll be making a stop in Los Angeles later this year.

The BTS World Tour was just announced on Tuesday. The tour will bring the K-pop sensations to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood for four dates: Sept. 1, 2, 5 and 6.

"Set to be the biggest global K-pop tour of all time, and the largest of their career to date, the run will span 34 regions and 79 shows, featuring first-ever performances in several cities and marking a historic new chapter for the group and their global fanbase, ARMY," SoFi officials said in a statement Tuesday.

Tickets are currently on sale for BTS fan club membership, known as an Army Membership, through Sunday. Tickets for select shows will be available to fan club members on Thursday, Jan. 22, and Friday, Jan. 23. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, Jan. 24.

"Notably, the tour will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design," SoFi Stadium officials said. "The immersive setup places the audience at the center of the experience while allowing for increased capacity at every venue."

BTS went on hiatus during arguably the peak of their careers as they began their mandatory military service in South Korea. The last member of the boy band was released from their duties in June 2025.

The group, consisting of RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook, and j-hope, has not performed together since their "Permission to Dance on Stage" tour in 2022.

The band kicks off their new tour with three concert dates in Goyang, South Korea, in April, followed by a two-day concert in Tokyo before taking on the U.S. leg of the tour.
