Lady Gaga's upcoming North American arena tour follows her electrifying Coachella 2025 performances, where she transformed the desert into a gothic opera house. During her headlining sets, Gaga unveiled a theatrical spectacle titled "Mayhem in the Desert," weaving a narrative through songs from her latest album, Mayhem, alongside fan favorites like "Poker Face" and "Born This Way".
The performance was divided into four acts, featuring elaborate staging, intricate choreography, and dramatic costume changes. Highlights included a towering red Baroque-inspired gown that opened to reveal a steel cage of dancers, a chess-themed dance battle during "Poker Face," and a surprise appearance by French producer Gesaffelstein for their joint track "Killah."

Throughout the operatic performance, Gaga appeared to symbolically kill off past versions of herself or her past personas. It remains to be seen whether Gaga will reconstruct the opera house or take any cues from her Coachella performances for her arena tour.
During her Weekend 1 performance, Gaga told the crowd that she was filming the performance for a future release, so fans will eventually have a chance to experience the immersive display.
Gaga will embark on the Mayhem Ball tour, which begins on July 16, 2025, in Las Vegas, with additional dates planned across North America Europe and Australia.
