Man Dies After Being Shoved Into MacArthur Park Lake: LAPD
Police are looking for two suspects in connection with the slaying Monday morning.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A 28-year-old man whose body was found floating face down in the lake at MacArthur Park Wednesday was the victim of a homicide, and police are looking for two suspects in connection with his death, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
"The victim was pushed in by the lake by the two suspects," said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im.
The victim was found just after 8 a.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Sixth Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. As of 3:30 p.m. police were still looking for two suspects in the attack, and no arrests had been made, said Im.

The victim whose body was found in the northeast section of the lake, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner identified him as Kyle Sherwood.

Police have not yet publicly released descriptions of the suspects. Contrary to reports, authorities do not believe there is a second victim in the lake.
