LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was rescued by firefighters Thursday morning after he fell approximately 20 feet at a Metro tunnel construction site in downtown Los Angeles.
Crews were called to the 200 block of West Second Street, between Main Street and Broadway, just before midnight Wednesday and used an on-site crane operated basket to safely bring the 40-year-old man to the surface, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
He suffered no significant injuries, Stewart said.
