Man Found Dead Near Baldwin Hills Oil Field Identified
The man, who died from blunt force trauma, was found dead in an area dominated by oil drilling equipment in the Baldwin Hills.

WINDSOR HILLS, CA — A man who was found dead due to blunt force trauma near the Baldwin Hills oil field this week has been identified by authorities.
Deputies responded at around 4:25 a.m. Wednesday to the 5200 block of South Fairfax Avenue in unincorporated View Park-Windsor Hills, where the man's body was found. The area, located south of Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, is dominated by oil wells and bounded by La Cienega Boulevard and La Brea Avenue.
The man was identified Thursday as Andrew Perez, 27, Department of Medical Examiner. Authorities said he died from blunt force trauma.

The investigation into Perez's death is ongoing.
