Man In Medical Distress Extricated From Tree Canopy

A man was hospitalized in serious condition after being rescued from a tree canopy in the Hollywood Hills.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was hospitalized in serious condition Sunday after being rescued from a tree canopy in the Hollywood Hills.

Around 2:15 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were alerted of a person stuck in a tree in the 2300 block of North Mount Olympus Drive, just east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The roughly 30-year-old man was stuck 20 feet above ground and experiencing medical distress, according to the department.
