LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was rushed to a hospital in serious condition from burns suffered when a truck caught fire Sunday in the Adams- Normandie community of Los Angeles, authorities said.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 9:49 a.m. Sunday to 2400 S. Catalina St., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire, which was exposing a single-family dwelling.
