Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Semi-Truck In Los Angeles
A man believed to have been homeless was killed when he was struck by a big rig at a Los Angeles intersection.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A man believed to have been homeless was killed Saturday when he was struck by a big rig at a Los Angeles intersection.
It happened at about 2:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison told City News Service.
The big rig was turning west onto Hollywood Boulevard when it struck the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, Madison said.

The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police, he added.
