Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Union Pacific Train In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a Union Pacific train in Boyle Heights Sunday, authorities said.
The collision occurred around 2 p.m. Sunday at 3200 E. Union Pacific Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Representatives from Union Pacific, the LAFD and Los Angeles Police Department were responding to the scene, coordinating patient extrication and accident investigation.
