Perfect Mother's Day Weather Forecast For SoCal

A classic run of spring weather will set the table for a lovely weekend of Mother's Day celebrations across SoCal. Here's what to expect.

LOS ANGELES — A pleasant stretch of spring weather is in the cards for Mother's Day weekend in Southern California with forecasters predicting plenty of afternoon sunshine and pitch-perfect temperatures.

Along the coast from Los Angeles to San Diego, each of the coming days will kick off with patchy morning fog giving way to clear and sunny skies. Across the Southland, the mostly cloudy mornings will gradually clear up for beautiful afternoons in the mid-70s.

In the Inland Empire, Friday's highs will run close to 80 degrees in Beaumont and a couple of degrees higher around Riverside and San Bernardino before tacking on a few more Sunday.

"A quiet weather pattern is expected through early next week with near normal temperatures and no rain," NWS Los Angeles said. "Increasing night and morning low clouds are expected across coast and valleys as onshore flow increases. Mostly minor day-to-day changes in temperatures are expected through Sunday."

Temps will hit the bullseye across SoCal Friday, landing around their seasonal normals and making for an idyllic spring day. Afternoon highs around San Diego should hold steady around 70 degrees through the weekend, while climbing a few degrees around Los Angeles through Mother's Day.
