Person Carrying Torch Suspect Of Setting Fire Along Wilshire Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police on Thursday detained a suspect in a string of arsons along a busy stretch of Wilshire Boulevard.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect was seen on surveillance video carrying a torch and setting fires.

The unnamed suspect was detained by the Beverly Hills Police Department

“All the fires are believed to have been set along Wilshire Bl in Los Angeles,” the Beverly Hills Police Department said in a written statement.

Authorities did not immediately identify the suspect or announce arrest charges.
