Pursuit Of SoCal Carjacking Suspects Ends Near Where It Began
Police chased the suspects down the 605 to the 105 and off into East Los Angeles before the pursuit looped back around.
WHITTIER, CA — Police were searching for two carjacking suspects in a Whittier neighborhood Saturday after a pursuit from Whittier to the South Gate/East Los Angeles area and back.
Details including the time and location of the carjacking were not immediately available. KCAL began televising the pursuit about 6 p.m. Saturday, when the suspects were seen in a black sedan with headlights off on the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway at Telegraph Road, with Whittier police close behind them.
The pursuit wound south down the 605 to the westbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway and off into South Gate/East Los Angeles, where the suspects continued on surface streets before getting back on the 105, headed east and onto the 605 northbound about 6:20 p.m.

KCAL showed the suspects back in Whittier about 6:40 p.m. as they bailed out in a cul-de-sac near Danbrook Drive and Parise Drive.
There was not immediate word on arrests.

Whittier police told KCAL that the suspects were not armed.
