WOODLAND HILLS, CA — Rams receiver Demarcus Robinson was arrested before sunrise Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Woodland Hills, where authorities reported he was driving over 100 mph.

California Highway Patrol officers from the West Valley Area office noticed a speeding white Dodge sedan on the northbound Ventura Freeway, south of Tampa Avenue, at 5:13 a.m. After the officers stopped the sedan, the driver identified himself as Demarcus Dontavian Robinson, according to a CHP statement.

Officers observed what they determined to be "symptoms of alcohol impairment" and arrested Robinson on suspicion of driving under the influence, and Robinson was "released to a responsible party," according to the CHP.
