SigAlert: Pool Supply Truck Crash Blocks 405/Skirball Onramp

The Skirball Center Drive onramp to the San Diego (405) Freeway was shut down after a crash spilled potentially hazardous material.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A crash involving a pool supply truck forced the closure to the Skirball Center Drive onramp to the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway Thursday.

The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert for the 405 Freeway expected to last until about 3:45 p.m. The SigAlert may be extended as the cleanup process continues, said CHP Officer Edgar Figueroa.

A two-vehicle crash was reported shortly after 2 p.m. on the onramp to the northbound side of the freeway. The onramp was closed as a precaution.
