Sleeping Toddler Kidnapped, Dropped Off After LA Carjacking

According to FOX 11, the toddler was sleeping inside a car when it was stolen from a Ralphs parking lot on Friday afternoon.

LOS ANGELES — A young child is safe after being abducted during a carjacking Friday from a supermarket parking lot in the San Fernando Valley. According to FOX 11, the 1-year-old was asleep in a vehicle parked outside a Ralphs in the Sun Valley area when two suspects stole the car and took off.

Police told the station the alleged thieves dropped the young child off roughly half a mile from where he was taken. FOX 11 shared images of officers carrying the toddler in his car seat to a waiting police car before he was reunited with his worried family.
