Strada Eateria + Bar Brings European Flare to Downtown LA

Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, Strada Eateria + Bar is a perfect stop for a quick bite before heading to a concert at LA Live or for a relaxing dinner full of European flare.

Owned and operated by Julian Andrei, the space offers indoor and al fresco seating. Inside, the space houses a long wood bar to enjoy a variety of cocktails, comfy wood tables and chairs, pretty Venetian plaster walls, large windows looking out to the patio, Romanian art, and modern innovative lighting fixtures. Diners looking to enjoy dishes al fresco can sit at the large romantic patio with pretty trees and twinkling lights.

The menu includes a variety of Spanish tapas, wood-fired pizzas, salads, pastas, seafood and prime meats. Appetizers include an outstanding charcuterie board, deep fried beef and cream croquettes, roasted beets and garlic herb butter, lamb skewers, duck prosciutto and a variety of salads. Pizzas include the Strada with mozzarella, Manchego and cherry tomatoes; the Pamplona with chorizo, mozzarella, tomato, avocado and roasted peppers; The Basque with sausage, Manchego and mozzarella; the Gypsy Meadow with pork belly, bacon and tomatoes and the Salmon Truffle with smoked salmon, truffle Manchego, dill, tomatoes and mozzarella.

Seafood options include a cod ceviche, pan seared salmon, salmon and tuna poke and a lobster and shrimp cognac ravioli.

There’s also great sandwiches including a smash style cheeseburger and chorizo, lomo and sabrasada; pork belly and bacon; Manchego, quince and tomato; sausage and Dijon aioli; tuna salad sandwiches and an Ahi tuna steak burger all served with fries.

Main dishes include a tomahawk steak for two, New York steak, lamb shank, vegetarian charred cauliflower and mushrooms, Wagyu truffle ravioli and turmeric penne.
