Suspect In Rapper's Killing May Be Hiding Out In LA: Police
LA-based rapper Christopher Cheeks was gunned down in Nashville last year.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities this week asked for the public's help finding a man wanted in the 2024 shooting death of a Los Angeles rapper in Tennessee. The suspect is likely in the Southland, authorities said.
Trayvon Palmer, 32, was indicted for the April 2024 fatal shooting of Christopher Cheeks, 32. He is facing charges of first-degree murder, robbery and gun offenses. Two other suspects have been arrested, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

Cheeks, an LA-based rapper who went by Chris King, was in an alleyway near a Nashville recoding studio with a group of friends when three men attempted to rob him. He was fatally shot in the process, according to police.
