Giant LA Drive-Thru Photo Booth Offers Starring Roles In Taco Bell's Super Bowl Ad

LOS ANGELES, CA — Want a starring role in a Super Bowl commercial? All you need to do is make your way through a local Taco Bell drive thru.

Taco Bell this month introduced its Live Más Drive-Thru Cams at five locations nationwide, including one in Los Angeles. The cameras are essentially giant photo booths positioned at the end of the drive thru lanes, where customers can get their photos taken and opt to have the shots considered for inclusion in Taco Bell's upcoming Super Bowl ad.

“Every day in our drive-thrus we see moments that are so uniquely ‘our fans’ — the moments, the memories, and the energy that makes Taco Bell who we are,” Taco Bell Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery said. “That’s why, for our return to football’s biggest stage, we’re sidelining the celebrities and turning the camera on the fans who already make Taco Bell what it is. We’re inviting Taco Bell Rewards members to come through and do you.”

Here's how it works:

• Customers order at the drive thru speaker or through the Taco Bell app as usual.
• After picking up their order at the window, visitors scan a QR code located on the Drive-Thru Cam, initiate a photo countdown and pose for a series of six photos. Cameras are located both on the driver and passenger side of the drive-thru lane.
• Two digital photos strips, featuring three pictures each, are sent to the user via email.
• Customers can opt in through the app to have their photos considered for inclusion in Taco Bell's 2025 Super Bowl ad.

The Live Más Drive-Thru Cam will be available at the Taco Bell location at 1604 S. La Brea Ave. from Dec. 3-5.
