Truck Fire Brings 405 Freeway Traffic To A Standstill: Sigalert
The incident brought rush-hour traffic to a standstill.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A truck fire prompted the closure of the connector between the 405 and 101 freeways in the San Fernando Valley Monday evening during rush hour.
The fire was reported at 4 p.m. on the ramp that connects the northbound 405 to the east- and west-bound 101 Freeway in Sherman Oaks, according to a Sigalert.
By 5 p.m., the fire had been extinguished, but the connector road continued to be blocked. The truck was loaded with hay and "completely burned," leaving firefighting foam and debris in the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
