What's New On Netflix January 2026: 'Bridgerton' Season 4, 'The Rip,' 'People We Meet On Vacation,' And More
New year, new vibes! Kick off 2026 with new thrillers, romances and returning favorites as Netflix rolls out a packed January lineup.

LOS ANGELES, CA — It’s new year, new vibes in Netflix‑land! And January’s all set to step in with a treasure trove that’s sure to get you back into your groove.
Think glossy thrillers, romantic escapes and global gems with a hint of sparkle — the kind of cinematic comfort that fits right in with long winter days and even longer nights. It’s a lineup that invites you to ease into 2026 with renewed energy and a sense of possibility brimming with potential as the year unfolds.
Fresh out of the gate is “The Rip,” a gritty Miami crime thriller starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as veteran cops whose unit uncovers a hidden cache of cartel cash during a raid. The discovery ignites suspicion within the ranks as outside forces close in, threatening to tear the team apart from within.

“Bridgerton” fans, rejoice! The fourth season of the Regency-era drama arrives at the end of the month with Part 1. This chapter follows the Cinderella-esque romance between second Bridgerton son Benedict (Luke Thompson) and the mysterious Lady in Silver, Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). Expect masquerade intrigue, new arrivals in high society, and a deeper look at Benedict's artistic, free-spirited side — with Part 2 following Feb. 26.
Also available for romantics is “People We Meet on Vacation,” a film adaptation of Emily Henry’s bestseller about the burgeoning love affair between longtime friends Poppy and Alex (Emily Bader and Tom Blyth). Their reunion for one last summer getaway stirs up years of unresolved feelings against the backdrop of sun‑soaked beaches and late‑night heart‑to‑hearts. And in the spirit of “Bridgerton,” it all builds toward a delicious will‑they‑won’t‑they.
