Woman Rescued By Couple After Treacherous Fall In Angeles National Forest
The harrowing and snowy rescue was captured on video.

A harrowing rescue was captured on video after a woman fell down a steep and snowy slope in the Angeles National Forest and was pulled to safety with help from good Samaritans.
Aly Pan, of Orange County, went to the forest with two friends for a last-minute trip because she had never seen snow, NBC4 reported, adding she enjoyed taking in the view and making snowmen until she turned to wave to a friend waiting in the car and slipped off the incline.
Pan was able to grab a rock and what appeared to be a wire, clinging to the side of the slope for roughly 45 minutes, according to NBC4, which reported her friends’ attempts to call 911 failed without a signal and that a passing driver did not stop.

Another vehicle, occupied by spouses Beatriz Pano and Pablo González, did stop, NBC4 reported.
Video of the incident on TikTok shows Pan’s friend, identified by NBC4 only as Yuni, approaching the couple's vehicle and explaining the situation. The video then captures how the group worked together, using multiple cables to pull Pan to safety.

Once Pan reaches the top of the slope, there are tears and hugs as Pano says off camera: “It’s OK, you are safe.”
Despite the amount of time she spent trapped in the snow, Pan suffered only cuts, bruises and six broken nails, according to NBC4.
